Did you know that you should have a 60-year plan with your doctor for your health?

Yeah, I didn’t either until I was diagnosed with a medical condition at 18 that western medicine said I would have for the rest of my life. I was told the only way to manage it was to take an anti-depressant or narcotic every day for the rest of my life.

I was by myself when I got diagnosed. I was in a room with my pain doctor and two med students. I was the only one concerned about how the medicine they wanted me to consume would impact my life expectancy.

I decided to not take the medicine and figure out how I could live a prosperous life without their suggestions. I started doing my own research and educating myself on my diagnoses. As the number of doctors, I had to see started to grow I kept my own notes on what was happening with my body.

This guide is a blueprint of the things I keep track of and questions that I’ve learned to ask over the last decade. I talk about how I look at my health journey as a lifestyle. I give you the tools I use to track my wellness. I still use this playbook to advocate for my health with doctors, financial advisors to get insurance policies and trainers.
